Patti J. Martz, 83, of Rhode Island Ave., Ellwood City passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Golden Hill Nursing Center.
Born December 11, 1931 in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Ruth Kane Milliren .
She was married for 61 years to Thomas L. Martz as they were married October 3, 1953.
Patti graduated from Reynoldsville High School in 1949. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ellwood City. Patti was a member of the Ellwood City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and she volunteered with the local Meals on Wheels Program.
In addition to her husband, Tom survivors include a son, Frank (Dana) Martz; daughter, Terri (Rick) Weingartner, both of Ellwood City; sister, Alice Kuhns of Buffalo, NY; brother, Jack (Shirley) Milliren of New Bethlehem, PA; grandson, Thomas D. (Jessica) Martz of Winston Salem, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Dickey and Ann Engle, and one brother, James Milliren.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 29 from 5 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 am with Rev. William King of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery in Reynoldsville, PA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
