Robert A. Knott, 66, of Ellwood City passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a six week illness.
Born April 25, 1955 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Elmer and June D. Krafft Knott Hochbeine.
Bob worked at Hahn Auto Restoration in Harmony. He loved restoring old cars and riding his Harley. Bob was a proud member of the US Marine Corp having served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his partner of many years, Rachel Bargebuhr; two daughters, Candace Knott-Hineman of Hookstown, Leigh Ann (Frank) Reed of Georgetown; He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, Paige, Kayleigh, Hannah, Justin, and Dillan; sister, Sandra (Butch) Way of Michigan; niece, Tonya Way (Daniel) Salisbury; nephew, Michael Way.
He was preceded in death by parents, a nephew, William “Willy” Way and his best friend Cheech.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday March 3, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Inc. 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Private funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am. Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard.
