Robert Eugene Roush, 90, of Wampum Koppel Rd., Wampum passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a short illness. He has gone home to be with the Lord and his late wife and daughter.
Born April 11, 1927 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Boswell Roush. He was married for 32 years to Vivian L. Phillips Roush who passed away January 1, 1983.
Bob retired as a millwright following 38 years of service from Babcock and Wilcox. He served in the Army during WWII with the Big Red #1 Division and received the Victory Medal. His hobbies included repairing cars and rebuilding motors and his home. He was a gifted artist and had his pilot’s license. Bob loved to help people and gave advice when needed.
Survivors include two daughters, Lee Ann Sargent of Plattsville, WI, Holly Roush of Beaver Falls; two sons, Robert J. (Patty) Roush of Enon Valley, William Roush of Darlington; sister, Virginia Roush of South Carolina; brother, Dave (Marge) Roush of West Palm Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Gwen Sargent, Chrissy (Nathaniel) Wert, Chuckie and Jennifer Green, Robert C. (Amber) Roush, John Roush, Laura (Remington) Bouch; four great grandchildren, Katherine Wert, Reese and Bella Roush, and Alexis Green.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Green, a sister and brother in law, Lois and Andre Wahl.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 am with Rev. Larry F. Llewellyn officiating. Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard. Final interment will take place at Clinton Cemetery.
