The children of Robert Lewis Lutz, 73, of Beaver Falls would like to take this opportunity to announce the death of their father who passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Lutz was born September 6, 1949 in Ellwood City, where he was raised and spent the entirety of his youth and is predeceased by his parents John L Sr. and Lorena M. (Gifford) Lutz, three sisters; Erma Lutz, Emma (Lutz) Blaskowitz, and Marilyn (Lutz) Peters, and his former wife Barbara Strohecker who passed on November 25, 2020.
Robert attended Riverside High School. He worked for several businesses in the area including Value Structures, Aetna Standard, and American Eagle Outfitters. Bob was a knowledgeable music fan with his favorite group being the Rat Pack. He enjoyed genealogy and learning about his family’s history. Some of his other interests were gardening, James Bond Movies, and the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. His most cherished moments were spent with his four beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Tracy N. Lutz of Monaca, Todd E. (Jennifer) Lutz of North Sewickley, and Karen T. (William “Bill” Sr.) Huff of Canton, OH; four grandchildren, MyKaila “Kaila” and William “Bubby” Huff Jr. and Serenity and Emilee Lutz; four brothers; George, John, William, and Jim; five sisters; Sarah, Pam, Nancy, Jeannie, and Vivian.
Family, acquaintances, and anyone that considers themselves friends are invited to the Visiting Hours from 5:00 to 6:30 pm and the Memorial Service which commences at 6:30 pm on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
