Robert W. “Sky” King, 71, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Born January 19, 1948 in Springfield, OH, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Ruth M. Shoff King. He was married to Linda King for 45 years, she survives.
Sky graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1966. He formerly owned and operated Pizza King on 2nd St. in Ellwood City. He currently worked at Home Depot in Chippewa and previously at B & W. He joined the National Guard after high school. Sky enjoyed trips to the casino’s, hunting, and fishing. His most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Linda, survivors include two daughters, Stella King of IL, and Ruth (Mitch) Hastings of KS; two sons, Robert (Nicole) King Jr. of New Castle, and Donald King of FL; brother, Donald (Janette) King of New Castle; two sisters, Dianne (Alan) Cash of CA, and Linda (Bill) Smith of New Castle; 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 21, 2019 from 2 to 4pm and from 7 to 9pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
Visiting hours will also be held on Tuesday, from 10am until the time of the service at 11am at the funeral home with Ted Simon, his brother-in-law officiating.
Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
