Ronald Kaufman, 84, of Fombell passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Carriage Manor in New Castle.
Born March 1, 1938 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ferd and Mildred Keisling Kaufman. He was married to Mary Miller Kaufman.
Ronald had graduated from Zelienople High School in 1956. After high school, he served his Country in the United States Navy. He retired from Highway Equipment Co. He then drove truck for BeMac Trucking. Ronald was an active member of the Concord United Methodist Church for 15 years where he faithfully mowed their grass for 10 years. He was also a member of the Ellwood Masonic Lodge #599. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Cliff (Kim) Kaufman of Ellport and Pastor Arnold (Lynn) Kaufman of Wooster, OH; daughter, Cathy (James) Spiker of Fombell; sister, Karen (David) Cowan of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Phylis Jean Rowlands and Carlotte Irene Rice.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City with a Masonic Service at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, on December 6, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Christopher Kindle and Ron’s son Pastor Arnold Kaufman officiating. Full Military Honors will be observed by the Veteran’s Honor Guard.
Interment will follow in Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
