Rosalie S. Woods

Rosalie S. Woods, 87, of Alpha Dr., Wampum died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital.

Born July 2, 1926 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Brown Lewis. She was married to the late John S. Woods Sr.

Rosalie was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Chewton where she sang in the choir and taught Bible School. Mrs. Woods graduated from Wampum High School and had worked at the former Reliable Luggage Company in West Pittsburg.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, John and Donna Woods Jr. of Youngstown, Ohio; two sisters, Lonnie Mae Robinson of Wampum, Millie Scott of Beaver Falls; two brothers, Rev. Allen (Barbara) Lewis and Alfred (Paula) Lewis, both of Alliance, Ohio; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph W. Woods.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 11 from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Her pastor, Rev. Eric Board will officiate. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
