Sally Lou (Lewis) LeViere 92 went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, Sheldon “Shelly” LeViere Sr. on December 17, 2023.
Sally was born in Ellwood City on April 18, 1931 to Oliver and Gertrude (Knight) Lewis.
She graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1950, and married her husband Sheldon on Nov.8, 1952. Sally loved making quilts and gifting them to family and friends. Her quilts are in homes all over the United States. She loved traveling, especially to Florida, out west, fishing trips to Canada, and to Anderson University Camp meetings. She enjoyed bowling and spending time at her cabin at Whitehall Camp in Emlenton, PA.
She attended the Ellwood City First Church of God where she taught Sunday School several years and was part of the women’s group.
She is survived by three children, Sheldon “Skip” (Chris) LeViere Jr. of Ellwood City, Douglas (Connie) LeViere of New Castle, and Bonnie LeViere of Beaver Falls. Sally has nine grandchildren, Nicole (Frank) Mars, Nathaniel (Anna) LeViere, Nicholas (Kristina) LeViere, Brooks (Courtney) LeViere, Courtney (Ray) Johns, Taurean Potter, Jordan (Ashley) Potter, Michael (Nicole) Stevenson, and Kayla Stevenson. Ten great-grandchildren complete the family circle. She is also survived by 2 nieces, Lallie Sheeler and Carol Szoke and nephew Ken Lewis on the Lewis side and several nieces and nephews on the LeViere side.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Shelly, a brother, Clyde Lewis and sister, Mae Kriebel.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Friends will also be received on Thursday December 21 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the Ellwood City First Church of God. Pastor John Davis will officiate.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Butler.
The family would like to thank all of her care givers at Trinity Oaks Care Center in Ellwood City and at Avalon Place in West Pittsburgh
