Sandra L. Gahagan

Sandra L Gahagan, 65, of New Castle passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at her residence.

Born March 4, 1959 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Irene Gahagan.

Sandra had worked in telemarketing and as a cook at various restaurants in the area including the Ellwood Hot Dog Shop, Fray’s, and the Oasis. An attendee of Riverside High School, some of her interests were cooking, reading, playing cards, and watching the Steelers.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and Charles McCarter both of New Castle; two sisters, Connie Bell of Ellwood City and Patty Beitsch of Ellport; three grandchildren; Sierra, Shayna, and Georgia, and four great-grandchildren; Rocco, Aysen, Legend, and Arabella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Heather Gahagan and her sister Shirley Smith.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 6:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Dave McQuaid will officiate.

Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery.
