Sharon A. Petrocelli

Sharon A. Petrocelli, 71, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 19, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born June 24, 1953 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Shirley Kratsas. She married Walter S. Petrocelli on September 28, 1974.

Sharon graduated from Perry High School in Pittsburgh and then from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She was a member of the former BVM Church and a current member of Divine Grace Parish Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Through the years, Sharon worked at Kaufman's in Pittsburgh, at McDonald's for 16 years, and in the bakery at the Monaca Walmart. She loved being a mom and was a lifelong dog lover, including her beloved dog, Suzie. Love was the cornerstone of her life.

Survivors include her husband Walter; son, John V. (Lina) Petrocelli of Cornelius, NC; daughter, Connie (Tom) Beatty of Hermitage, and her granddaughter, Sydney Petrocelli.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother Anna Kuntz and her uncle Fred Kuntz.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday August 23, 2024 from 5:30 pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
