Shirley Moore

Shirley Rae Hairhoger Lucy Moore, 65, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2021.

Born July 4, 1955 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Hairhoger and Barbara L. Hozick Hairhoger, who survives.

Shirley Rae attended Lawrence County Vo-Tech graduating in 1973 and attended Pen State. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and her puppy, Sally Mae.

In addition to her mother, survivors include three sons, Rico (Amie) Lucy of Ellwood City, Derek (Stephanie) Lucy and Michael Rae Moore, both of Palm Bay, Florida; four sisters, Karen (Richard) Figurel, Diana (Dean) Shallenberger, and Kim (Sam) Grant, all of Ellwood City, Barbara Gagliardi of Boca Raton, FL; and Kim (Sam) Grant of Ellwood City; five grandchildren, Briana, Drake, Chase, Tucker, and Nolan Lucy. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Donald Lucy and Thomas Moore, a sister, Cynthia Hairhoger Grant, and a brother in law, Michael Gagliardi.

No service has been scheduled at this time due to Covid-19. The immediate family will hold a celebration of her life at a later time and date.

Shirley’s final resting place will be in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
