Terry L. Mccandless

Terry L. McCandless, 57, of First Ave., Ellwood City passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 11, 2016 following an extended illness.

Born June 1, 1959 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Elsie A. Newton McCandless Sr. He was married to Cathy Yeykal McCandless who passed away in 2012.

Terry graduated from Lincoln High School. He had formerly worked at Wiley Heating and Alsy Lighting in Ellwood City, and A-C Plus in Burnstown. He enjoyed working on cars and anything with a motor in is. Terry loved drinking coffee. His most cherished time was spent with family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Terry J. “T.J.” (Amanda) McCandless; stepdaughter, Jamie (John) Bastian; two sisters, Lisa (Lance) Loccisano, Dolores McCandless; brother, Robert W. (Cindy) McCandless Jr., all of Ellwood City; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday December 14 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
