Thomas J. Prestopine

Thomas J. Prestopine, 70, of Ellwood City died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Evergreen Nursing Center following a brief illness.

Born July 10, 1944 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Natale Prestopine and Pauline Morelli Prestopine Lumley.

Tom attended Lincoln HIgh School and was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. He lived in California for many years. Upon his return to the area, Tom worked at Traco Window Mfg in Cranberry. He was a sports fan, especially following the Duke Basketball Team and Ellwood City sport. He enjoyed traveling and listening to oldies music.

Survivors include daughter, Ashley Annarumo; two sisters, Stella “DeeDee” Petrucci of Ellwood City, Norma (Dale) Saam of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Angelo Prestopine of York, PA, Charles Prestopine of Beaver; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law, Robert Petrucci.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday March 28 from 12:30 pm until the time of the blessing service at 2:30 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
