Warren E. Snider, 78, of Portersville Rd., Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Golden Hill Nursing Home, following an on and off again battle with cancer.

Born April 16, 1939 in Dravosburg, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd Snider and Ethel Wall Snider .

He was married to Linda Dougherty who passed in 2014.

Warren retired from Westinghouse after 40 years as a research and development technician. He belonged to both the First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City and the Central Highlands Community Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and played dart ball in Elizabeth, Pa. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Amateur Astronomers Club. He enjoyed photography and loved to eat out.

Survivors include his loving companion Patricia Seaburn; two sons, Donald (Jeanine) Snider of Scottdale, Pa., Daniel (Julie) Snider of Jamestown, SC; daughter, Denise (Gerald) Eisaman of Elizabeth, Pa; four grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Alex Snider and Jacob Eisaman; his sister, Audrey Dougherty of Charlotte, NC; nephew and niece, Wayne (Nancy) Johnston of Monongahela and Sharon (Mark) Vargo of North Huntington; great nephews, Christopher and Ashley Johnston, Chris (Tiffany) Vargo, and Sean (Erin) Vargo.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Again on Friday at the Bekavac Funeral Home in Versailles, from 6 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 8 pm conducted by Angelique Bradford.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Crescent Ave. Ellwood City.
