William (Bill) A. Lemanski


William (Bill) A Lemanski, 64, of Ellport, died unexpectedly in the emergency room of the Ellwood City Hospital on Saturday, October 6, 2012.

Born June 23, 1948 in Ellwood City, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Pertile) Lemanski. He was married to Ramona “Cookie” Agostinelli on Aug 23, 1969, who survives.

Bill began his career as a high school science teacher and football coach at Beaver High School. He then pursued a career in sales and marketing for McCarl’s in Beaver Falls, Ragnar Benson Construction Co. of Chicago, IL, then Wallbridge Construction Co. of Detroit, MI. He was currently doing Business Development nationally for Worley Parsons Engineering and Construction.

Bill graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966 and from Shippensburg University where he graduated in 1970. While attending Shippensburg he was the captain of the football team and a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity.

Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, golf and his grandchildren’s sports. He golfed for many years in the DDD Golf League and the White Eagles Golf League. His most cherished moments were the times that he spent with his family. He enjoyed more than anything attending all his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

He is survived by 2 daughters – Julie, and husband, Kevin Dambach of Fombell, Amy, and husband, Eric Barlow of Ellwood City, sister – Mary Ellen, and husband, Joseph Camera of New Castle; 2 brothers – Robert, and wife, Bambi Lynn Lemanski, Richard, and wife, Mona Lemanski of Carlisle; 5 grandchildren- Jason, Austin, and Madison Dambach, and Marina and Erica Barlow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Albert and Mary Agostinelli and a sister Patty Lemanski.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 8, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church on October 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Angel Fund at Holy Redeemer School.
