William E. “Bill” Moore

William E. “Bill” Moore, 92, of East Palestine (formerly of Wampum) passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at Covington Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born November 25, 1930 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Oval E. and Idella Zeigler Moore.

Bill had first worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass, then had retired from McDonald Douglass where he was an aerospace engineer.

He is survived by his daughter, Jan Marie Moore of Glenford, OH.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Araminta “Amy” Weir on June 29, 1999 and his son Arnett Moore.

Per Bill’s wishes no services were held.

Interment was held in Clinton Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
