William E. Cummins

William E. Cummins, 72, of North Beaver Township passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman following a short illness.

Born June 16, 1948 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Clarence K. and Florence E. McClurg Cummins. He was married to Jane E. Zeh Cummins for 52 years.

Bill served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and Desert Shield and retired as a Sr. Chief Petty Officer. He retired from 1st Energy in Shippensport where he was in the instrument and testing department. Bill was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. An accomplished archer, Bill instructed people in target archery. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and cruises. He especially loved time spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Jane; two daughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Terry of Rudolph, NJ, Kimberly (Chris) Meyer of Etters, PA; two brothers, Rev. James (Debbie) Cummins of Surf Side Beach, SC, Robert (Robin) Cummins of Racine, PA; two granddaughters, Leah Terry and Leanne Meyer; two grandsons, Ethan and A.J. Terry.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Webster.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm with his nephew Rev. Robert Cummins Jr. officiating at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St. Wampum. Military Rites will be observed. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
