William G. Bartle Jr

William G. Bartle Jr. of Beaver Falls passed away after a brief illness on December 25, 2020 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver.

Born on March 20, 1940 to William G. Bartle Sr. and Iona V. (Fortney) Bartle. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Delores, a step-daughter, Mary Jean Stevenson, his parents, a brother, Arthur J. Bartle of Noblesville, Indiana and a sister Margaret (Bartle) Herko of Harmony, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bartle was baptized on October 14, 1958 and was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Ellwood City. Although he had only an elementary education, he read the Scriptures daily. He frequently attended Christian seminars, conventions, and visited local churches. Bill, a fan of Southern Gospel Music, followed several groups and attended many concerts. Bill was a people watcher and liked going to construction sights and observing the process from start to finish. He also enjoyed attending area fairs and local high school sporting events on a lifetime pass. Mr. Bartle worked for several corporations in the area and retired from the Zinc Corporation of Zelienople, Pennsylvania.

Due to the pandemic Mr. Bartle’s ashes were laid to rest next to those of his wife, Delores at Slippery Rock Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
