Z. Ann McKim, 85, of Pershing St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Born November 2, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Wimer Cook .
Ann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. She held many different jobs, including being a beautician, bus driver and crossing guard. She was a member of the Wurtemburg United Presbyterian Church and the Lillyville Church of God. She loved to write letters and notes, and keep journals. The holidays were her favorite time of year. Her most cherished time was spent being a grandma.
Survivors include four daughters, Cathy (Bill) Krestel of St. Louis, Missouri, Peri (Robert) Malcolm of Ellwood City, Teri (Ron) Plassmeyer of Frisco, Lori (John) Steffler of Wampum; one son, David (Tammy) McKim of Ellwood; her special son, Henry McClymonds of Ellwood City; 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son, Eugene “Beanie” McKim, two grandchildren, Misty and Matthew McKim; two sisters; and three brothers..
Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 4 from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Her pastor, Rev. Dennis Arndt of Lillyville will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Wurtemburg Cemetery.
